Dr. Gregory J. Bombassei is an endocrinologist in Avon, Connecticut. He is Board Certified in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism. He is a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and a Fellow of the American College of Endocrinology. Dr. Bombassei is affiliated with Hartford Hospital. He is an assistant professor of clinical medicine at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. Dr. Bombassei received his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, where he also completed his internship, residency, and endocrinology fellowship. Dr. Bombassei has been in practice for more than 30 years. He has expertise in treating diabetes, thyroid disease, osteoporosis, low testosterone, and other conditions. Dr. Bombassei participates with many insurance plans, including Medicare, Aetna, Anthem Blue Cross, Cigna, Connecticare, and United Healthcare, among others.
